Anyone make a Snorkel for their truck?

I have never seen a thread for this and I was too lazy to use the search feature tonight...

Has anyone made their intake the snorkel type? If you have could you post some pics of it? I'm curious how the X would look with one...

dang it dave... dont be lazy... thats why we have a search function..... several people have... look for the writeup jon zensius did on his first gen.... it aint pretty, but is functional......

Yes I will have to figure out who it was but someone built a snorkel out of PVC pipe that attached to the front of their Explorer. It was very creative, if you like black PVC pipe and a screen top off a gutter I think.

Ok here you go, the first page has a lot of info on a ranger snorkel, but this page shows one made by Awwjaws I believe
