Anyone Modified the exhaust?

I'm curious if anyone has modified the exhaust on their PIU? I have a 2022 Ecoboost and the rear tailpipes are only 1.5" diameter. Theres no way a twin turbo can breathe well thru those. Most of the exhaust prior to the rear resonators is larger diameter. I know the ST guys have all the aftermarket options and I'd guess I could make one fit, but I was curious if anyone has tried much yet? I'm not looking for annoying loud, so I'm hesitant to start cutting the resonators off without asking first!

Aren't the exhaust pipes for EXHAUST only? As far as I know, any air intake (breathing) is done at the front through the air intake.

Exhaust is part of the engine's breathing. Breath in, breath out... Restrictions at either end decrease power.

The ST piping is 2.5". The muffler tips are only 2", 2 on each side. Aftermarket exhausts are louder but they do not add any significant power. The stock exhausts on our explorers are all you need unless you crave a different sound.

I'm curious if anyone has done one of the aftermarket exhausts on a PIU. I love how the ATAK sounds on an ST, and I've heard various exhaust mods on the 3.3 F150.

Can't imagine the ATAK would be a bad sound on the 3.3
