Not meaty enough for my tastes. Good road tire with simialer characteristics of the bfg at's you got now but a smooth sidewall.

its a street tire, and due to that would also perform well in sand

You just put on your used BFG A/T and you are looking for new tires all ready.
You sound like me. :p Just ask my wife :D :D :D

the used ones where more "used" than first thought..lol..i can only do 55 mph or so before they start to jump all over the road...

got the 2 back ones today, first impressions, wow ! good tire ! good ride and quiet. and i like the way they look, dont know about off-road, wet, or any of the traction part of it yet, but ill do a 1 month on them later...

I don't think they look bad at all! I almost went with them just because of the solid letters but I decided to go with the Uniroyal Liberators they sell instead. I slightly smaller price and I liked the groove a little better. They still look great and Jimbo's right. They will do well in the sand, Plus you can go over 55 MPH now! :D

ya, it was a toss up with the Liberators and the bfgs, there both 50,000 mile tires, but i just like bfg's ,my mustang has them ( bfg kdws 315 40 17 back 275 45 17 front) and the taurus has them (215 70 15) Touring Tires , so i thought it was the right thing to do ! lol...

Have a nice matching family. HAHAHA!
