I'm using a program called Grokster. (www.grokster.com) It is very similiar to Napster. It is a Person to Person transfer program and allows transfering of audio, video, images, software, and documents. So far its pretty good.
I used to use Audiogalaxy when they were simply an FTP directory. They still have that, but the bulk of the selections seem to be accessible via their client, which I haven't bothered to download.
Just curious - how would you compare it to Morpheus?
i think the best thing about AG is that you can't turn uploads off, don' get me wrong here, but on napster you could cancel the uploads, well with AG you can't unless you turn the client off, wich would stop your downloads aswell.
he only thing the client actually does is down and upload music, all the searching and so on , is done by IExplorer, another thing i like about AG is that it's got great bolean seaches , you would only have to type part of an name, or title of the song and it will look for any name/and or title with that word in it. i think that's definatly an plus.
as far as comparing goes, i really never tried morpheus because i never had too , aslong as i can find all the music on AG i won't change, when the time comes that it changes i prolly will switch to another program.
downloads on AG are really great, i have always run full bandwith when downloading songs, where napster sometimes got really slow.
I use Imesh, it's not that good if you want selection, but if you can find the song you want, it works just fine. The largest library I've found is Morpheus/Kazaa. It's pretty good. I don't know if you guys have tried it at all, but Direct Connect is a good program. It won't work on my computer for some reason, but it's good.
I've heard that Morpheus and Kazza is loaded with spyware. Then again, what isn't.

If you remove your sharing directory on Audiogalaxy then you can make it so no one can upload from you. You can still download though. I do this when I'm on dial up.
