Apten chip - do you find the tranny shifts too hard???

I finally got around to installing the chip. I found that the tranny shifts very hard under WOT. I already have a transgo shift kit - is the apten programming overkill? Will it hurt the tranny?

from what ive read on the forums, the firmer the shift, the better it is for the tranny because its not slipping. i could be wrong. but someone will chime in soon

I have heard that to. Maybe you should ask Alec. BTW, getting an apten chip next week!

The combo of the internal kit and the chip may be a bit much for some people.

In general the firmer the shift the better, but not to the point of being harsh and jerky.

So you may not want a shift kit and a chip bundled together? Ok, than I don't apply..........

if it's too much for with the shift kit and chip I'd have no problem reprogramming it with a little less soleniod pressure at WOT to soften it up a bit. let me know!
