I scored an Apten dual program (87/91) chip a few weeks back and LOVE it. Not sure I really needed the 87 program because I've had my tank full of 91 since then (VROOOOM).

However, I digress.....

Does anyone out there who scored the same chip have any pointers on how to thread the switch into the cabin? Right now mine is still stashed under the hood. I've heard it's fairly easy to thread it into the glovebox, but I haven't been so lucky (and haven't tried perhaps as hard as I should).

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Man, it is way cool.
You might need a helper with a flash light.
That opening where the computer goes, slide the cable through there.
Remove your glove box. ( open it and push in the two stops ) It will fold down enough. Have your buddy contort his neck in way it really should not be contorted, to look up behind the the dash board. With a flash light he ( she ) should be able to see it eventually. A coat hanger bent into a hook might aid in getting it through.
My cable was the EXACT length to be run all the way to my center console.

Monmix:

Thanks for the pointers. VERY helpful. Will give your suggestions a go.

Cheers....
