Are all 2nd gen sport clusters the same?

well what slammed just posted he changed his guage to a silver from a 2004 ranger and it fit but he had to rewire for a couple of the idiot lights so i guess they changed the wiring for it it shouldnt be that hard to do just figuring out the connections ask slammed how it was done..if you want it can be done...

ok so im gunna purchase the 2001 cluster, im gunna get white right i know ive read all the posts and i appreciate all the feedback but just wannt make sure before i buy something i already have thanks again for the help...

I also like how the gear shifthing is not an anolog looking pin type on the silver cluster it actually looks like it lights up slammed do you have pics of the cluster lit up maybe at night now you got me thinking it over...damn

I will be posting a write-up on how to do the ranger gauge swap in the next few days, been working 14 hour shifts so it may take me a few days. As for the Shifter position locater, my truck is a manual so it does not have the thing that says P R N D 2 1 on it, just a black piece.

joe i love the roll cage that thing is insane yeah theres a whole process to switching back the miles to keep the white OD but this one that im lookin at has like 1200 miles less than i have on my truck so instead of rolling it back or changing the OD over to black i dont mind having it a little under what it is now. hey the ex will be 1200 miles newer and i wonder if their gunna send the pin gear indicator my old one is broken its one gear off park is reverse and drive is 2nd valet guys hate getting in my truck... well if slammed cant do a write up cause its already installed i bet he can still give the wire colors or the indicators that were changed...its kind of hard to do a write up without pics
