I cracked one of my heads clear across the top and I'm having new heads for both sides cast with a stronger alloy. I figured since I got both sides off I might as well since I'm saving a lot of money doing the repair myself.
So I will have the right bank head left over when I'm done and I'm going to look at a 1999 ohv explorer with a blown head gasket today. Could I use the leftover head from my 2000 ohv to repair the head?
was hoping I could fix and sell the 1999 explorer and recoup the cost of the repair to my 2000 and make a little money back in the process.
If so, will the head fit on either side?
