Lately it sounds like my rear right speaker on my 95 explorer sounds like it is blown. So today I investigated a little swapped 2 other stock speakers and still the same result, checked the wiring harness within the door and it looks ok. Also it seems that is the only speaker that buzzes with engine interference while the motor is on I can hear it on the speakers. What is the deal?

Well I thought I had a blown speaker in the same location but it turns out its bad wiring. I havn't fixed it yet nor do I know how. Maybe you have the same problem.

I was thinking of just running a while new wiring directly from the radio straight to the speaker, but I just thought about it and I would be bypassing the factory amplifier so maybe I might need to do it from the amp hmmm?

The sound quality of the factory amps suck anyway, so I'd just bypass the whole thing. The problem may be in the amp itself anyway. They aren't meant to be run with an aftermarket deck.

Where is the factory amp located anyway?

do me a favor and dont jump the amp if its bad and causing your problem replace it bad things happen when you jump loads(i.e. amps, resistors, etc.)

Funny part is my speaker hasn't been misbehaving today for some reason! Hey 92kenney wanna join the illinois chapter in suvworld.com? I also joined f150world.com in the illinois chapter out there. I thought I would let you know since I seen the message on the bottom that said you were new. And welcome aboard!!!
