About 3 hours ago I took delivery of my 2006 Explorer XLT 4.0. It is in outstanding condition! Obviously, the elderly couple took immaculate care of it. An aquaintance purchased it for his daughter. She drove it for 4 weeks. After a new water pump one week ago, it overheated and died. Her dad sold it to me for $350. I have not pulled any codes. I assume at minimum that the top end is in dire straights! The motor turns but does not start. Can anyone make a best guess as to what I am facing?
