Hey everyone, I ramped my X last night on a 20 degree ramp (I think) and only scored a 627 :(.

I have the 4" Superlift w/ TT up front and 4" Superlift Springs sprung under and the 2" Warrior Shackles in the rear. No sway's front or rear, and running the Superlift shocks at all four corners, 33" tires, and an extended rear brakeline. It didn't look like my shocks were limiting at all, and the springs flexed pretty well.

I'm curious to see what other people are ramping. I know it's just a number that doesn't mean much out on the trail, but I'm just curious.

Plain and simple, IFS is not made for articulation.

Years ago, I ramped my longbed Rangerand only did 561. I would be very happy with 627.

Your score of 627 is 70.25" up the ramp. Mine does 880 on a 20 degree ramp or 98.5" up the ramp and it does 630 (70.5") on a 30 degree ramp .

I score about 425 with my swaybars discoed.

2" TT/rear mods and 33"s.

What are the odds that this was a 30 degree ramp and not a 20 degree? I'm not sure what it was someone "thought" it was a 20 degree. They owner of the ramp had left after he gave me my score. I'll email the HEEP club and try to find out for sure.

SO how would I increase the articulation in the rear? Mount the shocks different? SOA? Again, just curious for when I do my SAS.

If it were a 30 degree ramp, your score would have been a lot lower. I am betting it was a 20 degree.

New leaf springs. More, but thinner leaves with a softer spring rate should help.

The ideal leaf for flex is pretty much flat, thin, and with a low spring rate.

Of course that won't provide any lift and will have a hard time supporting the weight of the vehicle.

Shocks have nothing to do with suspension functions other than to dampen the suspension. Remounting them won't give you more flex, but it might free up flex being limited by the length of the shock. I dount that is the case though.

Just make sure you go for a good balance of flex front and rear. Too much on one end is a bad thing.
