stock shocks with lift, lose articulation?

Went 4x4n this weekend with some buddies, climbin, boggin, flexin suspension and stuff when one of mybuddies told me my front shocks were limiting my x's suspension travel, i have a 2 inch coil spacer and a 2 inch BL, but am retaining the stock shocks all the way around. the rearend of my truck articulates great all kinds of travel but the front sucks seams like there is very little travel. would bigger shocks give me more articulation? i sure could use it, even though i was the only one able to climb the hill called "The Widowmaker" hehe poor K5 with 35's nope ramcharger locked up whole rearend losing driveline with it. and my ex? well i went up twice just to prove it wasnt a fluke life is good thanks for the help guys jaydub

When I disconnect my front shocks my

front shocks I get another 3 to 4" of drop. Look in my gallery and there is a before and after shot. When I asked about it I got no reply,s. I would say yes! they limit front articulation.

thanks i think i'll go with bigger shocks then but should i limit myself to a certain length, ie dont want my coil spring poppin out, also would i have to get longer brake cable?

springs poppin out, naw!!

The radius arms will bind befor that happens. That photo in my photo album is the drivers. side hanging on just the radius arm bushing.

wow your shocks were limiting yours bad too do you have a lift? my shocks are the same size as stock and i have a 2 inch suspension lift so i have hardly any articulation, so if all i need to do is get longer shocks for down articulation what do i have to do to get up articulation? pivot arm drop bracket?
