Atlas Blue ST with tech and street pack - build date!

i ordered this back in march, just heard from the dealer that my build date is June 17th.

Given that, and if it doesnt change, how long should i expect for delivery? I have to extend my current lease, which runs out this month on the 24th.

Ford has told dealers not to expect any till July. Nobody really knows as everything is in limbo on the ok to buy. If it is delayed beyond what they have projected, all retail orders will be pushed back.

It is a crapshoot right now but say July at the earliest.

Ya, July 24th is a start, hopefully you won't have to go 1 more month. I was hoping for an end of June delivery but being realistic, I doubt it. We will know a lot more in the next couple of weeks.

just checked the order status site and my order status has changed to "in production" !!!

Can someone here with more experience then me tell me what the typical time frames to delivery are? How long to build, release, ship, etc? I have no idea, this is my first vehicle that i ordered and didn't get from the lot. I actually want to plan some work travel to make sure i am not out of town when it arrives.

thanks, that makes sense. explains why its processing but my last build date was the 28th. looks like end of july / early august if the shipping time is 3 weeks

I’m trying to find a specific build myself and the dealer says it’s normally an 8-10 week turnaround time, but being so new and In demand - I have to wonder if that timeline is realistically a 12+ week lead time.

I've ordered several cars/trucks from Ford in the past and I tend to order in May and they usually arrive August/Sept depending on popularity. Watching the shipping process is enough to drive a person insane. Just think, you might see yours in the next 3-4 weeks, I might not see mine until November. Post lots of pictures when you get it

This is exactly what mine is showing. Does that mean it started production yesterday?

I was hoping to have it by next week, but that really doesn’t look possible at this point. My ‘16 limited is going back on the 29th and i will be driving my old 2005 325xi until the explorer comes in.

Yes, i got to them last night. Seems like parts/production issues is slowing us down.

Not terribly. I think both times I've had orders in it's been "in production" for about 1.5 - 2 weeks.

My ST has been "In Production" since 6/18. They tell me it was built on 7/16 and it is held still "In Production" but sent out of plant. Lots in same boat sounds like.
