How much backspacing on what size wheels and tires are you running to have your tires not rub the radius arms. I rub with 31s on stock wheels and am thinking of going to 3.75 BS on a 15x8, do you think that'll get me clear.

I hated those things on my '94. Rubbed on my 31s and stock 157s too. Let me know if the tranny cross member still cracks. they redesigned that thing 3(!) times because of me.

Sweet arms on a 93-97 Ranger from Camburg

I was filling up my 97 Ranger today and saw some sweet arms on a 93-97 Ranger. Couldn't believe they were Camburg - thought they only did 4x2's.

Fellow said they were $500 for the pair 9.5" longer than stock. The rear mounts were righ in front of the transfer case skidplate. Black powdercoat, looked really beefy (dual tubes forward). Said he caught 5' of air at the coast last weekend (with wife aboard). Said only regret was not getting taller coils as there's about 6.5 deg of caster. Taller springs would cure that.

Very nice, should work fine on a 91-94 Explorer.

I actually think the part was defective, I've never heard anything but good things about James Duff.

I wonder if the way the front has been lifted would make a diffrence with the tire rub, I have the james duff 2.5" stage 2 lift, but havent installed it yet, but after some thought, the front beams are pretty much a hidge, so forcing the beams down 2 inches would cause the stock backspace to be closer to the inside of the truck, and the radius arms are on the same idea also, so maybe (I could be wrong, I might test this later when I put the lift and arms on) the spacer/spring front lift is part of the problem, also it doesnt take much for something to move the outside of the tire farther in or out, 2 bad ball joints gave my front end enough play that you could see the diffrence, top of the tire would go from 1" out to 1" in, about 2 inchs of play to the top of the outside edge of the tire, may be the truck also, I had 31x10.50x15 on my truck with out anylift and they didnt rub, unless you tryed to flex the truck, no lift = no flex at all

Duff Arms And 33"x12.50x15

Well, I have my Duff arms installed, test fit with 33x12.5x15 on STOCK! 15x7 rims, little rub on the front boot and it rubs the rear front shock alittle but only at full lock-lock, odd that there would be a rubbing problem with your 31" and I dont have much rub at all with 33x12.50
