Dre,
When you call the Ramada set something up so we can all call and they will know what we are talking about. I still have to book our room so I'll wait til tomorrow and hear about the group rate, tell them we want 20 rooms all next to eachother, near the bar and the pool. Tell them that $35 a night is what you want to pay and we are a nonprofit group. My mother is a travel agent so I know that we can be this agressive! Heck tell them Dannyboy's mom is a travel agent! Or wait, DON'T!

I had to call back on monday because the "sales"
people arent there on weekends. We have decided to camp, so unfortunately I will not be able to help with a group purchase. Thats crap that they qouted me $78 and you $59. Then again maybe they did catch word of the run?

Who is going camping? Where are you staying? I would like to park next to some fellow 'splorers.LOL

2001Explorersport have you made any conformation about lodging at this. I say we straighten out the price or I'll jump on the phone and find the best deal in the area as long as it's not the ****roach Inn.

ha! try using travelocity or expedia to find the cheapest room in or around Lafayette. That Ramada change of price kind of pisses me off. Mine is locked at $59.00 though.

Good luck........ just let me know if we should change to Bugdet Inn of America...... they were at $49.00

I'm going to be staying at the Danville Ramada(i got it for $55). I had posted earlier that we should all get together at one of the Hotels or at a resturant on Sat night for some"Fun and Games". I know since this will be my first "official" offroad trip I am going to want to talk all night about it and proble ask for advise on stuff I do wrong.
I will be doing the level one on Friday and then two on Sat. I may be alone on this now since Eric is lifting and putting 33s on.
I am hoping to grab a ride with someone on a level three or higher, but we will have to see I may just try the level two again on Sun.
What is the updated list for us? Has anyone else decided to come since the last update?

we can sure get together for something called dinner or otherwise but it'll be kind of hard. Attica is in the middle with Danville 30 miles west of Attica and Lafayette 30 miles east of Attica. If we want to do it at either of the locations it'll fun to get to. We can also meet in Attica after the run. Last time we ate there food was pretty good. Only thing is we have to make sure there's room there after the run... lol


any other suggestions? there's also a Mc'D. but I prefer real food when I'm hungry.....

I know Dre, just giving ya a hard time....getting 5 guys when we do a local run would be hard to get everyone to switch hotels, but 20 guys at least is alot harder! Paying less money is definately good, but sometimes it may not be worth the hastle...Oh well....Scott you better get your tires, cause I sure need them boggers! Go Scott! Get tires! I have never been there, so I can't say where. I am not worried about having to drive a couple extra miles ( I am the only one that is staying in a different town I think) to see everyone. I mainly just wanted to throw the idea out there so that people could start to get some ideas. We can actually make the plans once we are down there.

Ok Dre you got a room at $59 a night? If so I still need to book a room. Perhaps I can get that rate if I tell them you need a second room reserved? I also may need a roommate or two if somebody needs one I thought I was coming with four guys but now there may be as little as 2 of us. Oh no If I'm alone what am I going to do, talk to truckers the whole way to Ill?

Cameron, I'm going to Attica with my wife....... so far I'm not getting anywhere looking for a baby sitter for my kids for these 3 days....... if anything I'll keep you posted.... looks like there should be plenty of room......... and who the heck is staying in Danville?????? get your reservation changed to Lafayette men! Like I said, check travelocity.com and expedia.com........... should be no problem finding a room somewhere for around $50.00 a night...... let's stay together.....

I dont care as long as I have some good company to talk about the trails with!!
I also need to hone my riding skills. Its been so long since I've done some serious explorations.
I just hope my truck can hold up to what I am going to put it through. LOL

This includes you Cameron if Dre brings the offspring and Splashman(get with the group) and all the other guys that want to back out of Camping, I figure we all stay together and I'll work on booking a group of rooms, There may be only 2 in my room but a rollaway bed, floor or even a bathtub is better than getting ripped off in a hotel.
