Hey RFR (and others in CHicago) you had mentioned pooling together from your place (i.e. letting me crash at your place and get some sleep then continuing on to attica), was it the rest stop you guys were talking about meeting at or someones house or what? If its your house, email me instructions, matt@explorerforum.com. I'm PLANNING on leaving tomorrow around noon, but it'll probably end up being later. That'll give me time to make a lot of mileage before I get so tired I have to stop, then just a little more ways to your place (either that or I'm showing up at your place around 2 in the morning! LOL)

Speaking of tellico, I need info on it, Unless it's already full. Depending upon how my ex does this weekend, I might make the trip down there. I have read a lot about it in the magazines and want to try it out.

And I agree, Attica is not the best place to get a tire. I can ask around Danville tomorrow at a couple tire places if you want. But that might be too late for you. Let me know.

well...tellico for the most part is pretty hard core.....lockers and a winch are strongly recomended....i had no idea that kampy was even considering it!! i was plannin on later this summer with a guy that was on here a while ago, but wheels with a zuke......they say to expect body damage...but i think that depends....you can get a lot of info on the trails there just by doing a search on yahoo or somthing on "tellico 4x4 trails"

that would be sweet if a few x's went just to say..hey...we rock!! hehe...

If all goes right, I should be locked up by mid summer, at least the rear. I am going with 4.56 gears and a locker in the rear. I want an arb in the front just so I can disengage it when I want and not when it wants. Anyways, let me know about when you guys are planning on going. I might make it. It Depends on how my Ex does this weekend.

Speaking of this weekend. My extended braided brake lines came in only yesterday, so those still have to go on. While I was under the front spraying the bolts with some WD, I noticed an antifreeze leak. As far as I can tell it is just a hose. The guy never loowered the radiator when the body left was on it, so I am taking the radiator in to have it checked for stress cracks around the lower tube just in case. Man, if it ain't one thing it's another. Everything else is sweet, 33's don't rub, nerf bars are on. Hi-lift is on. Cb's hooked up. I'm ready!!!!

so, would anyone be pissed if I decided to come, but without the explorer? It's all loaded on the trailer and ready to go but I am having second thoughts about trailering it out there. Getting it up on the trailer last night and it was leaking gobs of some sort of liquid which we thought was water, but I went out and looked at the spot where it was leaking last night and it's not gone... it's almost a brown or red liquid, I can't figure out what it is... anyways, I'll still be there either way I'm just thinking about not bringing Vegas .

Sorry to hear Vegas is giving you troubles. I don’t think anyone would be upset if you come without your truck. We’ll just cancel our night time ride! LOL

I’m sure you can run shotgun with someone. I’m keeping my truck to the 1 and 2 trails so you may be board but your welcome to ride along with me.

Just show up, you already paid for the event. We’ll find you a truck to ride in!
