Attica Run April, 20-22

Guys, I am willing to fit at least four in my room if it cool with everybody else. The more people, the cheaper. There will be two beds, but sleeping bags might be a wise investment.

Let me know who wants to share a room.

Let me know, I will make some reservations. I'm thinking the Ramada in Lafayette where Andre is staying. $59 a night split fours is $14.75 plus taxes and ****.

riff, we're booked for one night although I might be changing that. If anyone will end-up with no place to sleep we can always put him or her,,,,,,, yeah! in our room. But you got to know that I talk in my sleep, Riff too..... just to let you know,

I was originally planning to go sat sun, but all this talk has changed my mind. Looks like I will be going down to Attica Fri morning and staying Fri and Sat nights. That's 2 nights at a hotel, who wants to share so I know the deal. Anybody interested in that plan?

and that's what I was thinking about. You got to know though that Indiana is still an hour ahead of us. I'd rather go Thursday, get some sleep and start bright and early.

Ruh? I was thinkign of leaving Denver Thursday morning... probably not terribly early, but probably by around 6 or 7 in the morning. If I am trailering and the wind out there isn't too bad, should make it in decent time.

Also someone else mentioned not telling that there was a second person? How would I justify asking for a two-bed hotel room for just me?

Andre was talking about more than two Matt. Hotels usually charge per when it is more than two. Like the third person would be $7 extra.

About what time would you be leaving on Thursday? My father is going to meet me down there (he is driving from Iowa) and I am sharing a room with him. I was planning on Fri morning, but he wanted to be there Thur night. If you guys go Thur night would you mind if I followed you?

That weekend is great for me. I've been itching to see the Great Pumpkin and Attica. And I now have the chance to meet some of you yahoos... I'll be in town Friday-Sunday.

Since I'm flying in ( No truck for Matthew ), I'd much appreciate it if someone from the Chicago area could pick me up @ O'Hare Friday morning...email me at trippmr@auburn.edu if you can. I'll also double/triple/quadruple up with someone in a motel (Fri. nite & Sat. nite). TIA

yeah, thats fine by me. As long as i have a comfy place to sleep and plenty of hot water in the shower once or twice a day .

Hey guys,

When does the registration period close? I need to know so that when I get a job I can send in the registration fee then. I don't want to miss out on this, I'll probably end up borrowing money to get the fee in. I'm not going to go so far as to make arrangements with any one because I am not 100% sure if I can attend, but if I have to I'll sleep on the side of the road if I have too.

I look forward to meeting the people attending from the left coast. I'll keep checking this post to keep up with the goings on.

BTW the way, if I ride with someone on the more hardcore trails, would they mind the yellow furry trail gear that I have brought down in the past?

Better to ask now than at the last minute.

Also, we should decide soon when we are caravanning down to Attica so everyone can make proper hotel arrangements. . Thursday night? Friday morning? I say Thursday night to avoid traffic.

Anyways, I need someone to share a room with (that doesn’t snore!). Let me know. I don’t mind sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag (ex-Army, I can sleep anywhere) I just want a warm shower.
