i am thinking about doing something i havent seen in any of the car sites like here or in cardomain. i have a total of 12 mids and 14 highs, 2 twelves and 4 tens about 17k worth of amps to chose from. i was thinking about putting 4 kicker 6x8s back in the stock holes and kicker 6.5s in the console with 2 tweeters in the top right under the ac controls and 4 kicker 6x9s in two towers next to the back seat and of course the subs in the back. is that too much to put in an everyday driver????? im just looking for feedback and what people think im trying to enter into an audio show next weekend and if people think it would look good than i think im gonna go for it.

You're going to make all of those changes just for a contest, and then keep them after the contest? I would say that's good for the contest, but that's a lot for a daily driver... too much. Unless you just want to trip people out :) I say go for it!

it wont be too bad i have 6 mids and 8 highs and 2 12s now and it hits about 138.4 so i figured more subs more vocals i cant stand unclear music it shows people dont know what there doing. and tuning wont be too bad i mean for a 15 hundred dollar 1st place i think itll be worth it.

with that many speakers seems like you are goin for more of a show car/pa system type deal.

I wouldn't just start placing speakers everywhere...guarantee it will sound like crap.

I would not mix subwoofer sizes...stick to one size and make sure they are the same subwoofer model also.

it doesnt really matter anymore i just sold the kicker 12s and i just bought a set of 08 15 inch mofos 2ohm dvc. so those are going in there i now need the right airspace anyone have some or know some one that does i would like dimensions and port sizes. it would help greatly i looked them up and it says they take about 3.4 cu ft per, but that doesnt sound like much. please help

Those subs wont be enough to work with all those mids and high speakers you're planing put in, if you want to be loud, get some PA speakers (some size and model) and some bullet point tweet, you can get a lot of choises from partsexpress you might want to put some PA subs to so they can keep up with all the other.
