Anybody used, using or heard of them. I would like to find out what they're like but ONLY them as am looking at maybe a bulk buy for some interested people over here, that is if we get some good reports.
Thanks in advance.:D

p.s. I hope I've put this in the right place, sorry if it isn't.

Hate to jump right in and say "SEARCH", but there are several threads on Aussie Lockers including plenty of user experience. In my experience it's a lot like any other locker outside being a good deal cheaper. Mine (rear) stays locked when needed on the trail and is reasonably transparent on the street.

Yeah sorta forgot about that as was doing a couple of things & arguing with kids at the same time, sorry about that.
Over here we have a brand called "Lokka", was also wondering if they could be the same with a different name?

Mate I understand the Aussie Locker is the same as the Lokka as sold by 4WDsystems in SA, it just re-named the Aussie locker in the states.

One I have been looking at getting for a wile is the Detroit E-Z for $U.S309 from Summit racing, I am just lazy in regards to dropping the front Diff to install the thing.

Steelo1 do you know what the Lokka is worth for the front of the Explorer, I might look at that insted if i can get it cheeper than the Detroit.

Mate, I think they're around the $600 mark but check out the site http://www.4wdsystems.com.au/html/lokka

p.s. everyone else don't get affended ok, if we can't laugh at ourselves what good are we.

Mate, I have the Aussie in mine from 4WDSystems and it works great .I did the work myself and also did the brown wire mod for insurance. So now I have to use 2 switches . The secound I mounted a rocket switch just above the mirror adjustment switch . You will certainly surprise the Jappa Crowd stick it up'em Cheers Barry

*might as well talk like everyone else -- when in rome, do as the romans do*

Mate, I'm running an Aussie Locker in the front axle of my Explorer. Positive traction all the way!
AussieLocker is a sponsor of ExplorerForum by the way.

Please don't show anymore pic's of all those ubeaut modified xploders it makes me BLOODY JEALOUS OK, as we from the land downunder aren't allowed (or costs 10's of thousands, literally) to do all those big mods.

p.s. great looking 4b.
