auto door handle lock unlock not working

2016 ford explorer door handles auto lock and unlock not working when touching the handle. either side does not work. any suggestions?

I think the best you can hope for is a reply from another member. The starter of this thread hasn't been seen here since June 1, 2017.
Can you lock them with the keyfob and/or inside switches? Some members have some luck clearing issues by disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes then reconnecting. This will, however, likely result in some saved memory settings being deleted.
