1995 Explorer XLT
Greetings everyone, I'm a new member.
The automatic locking hubs on my 1995 Explorer are shot. The dealer says its $308.00 per side to replace them. He told me about a manual conversion kit; part # FOT2-3B396-A, $123.03 and part # D2TZ-1198-A, required nut kit for @18.60. Again per side. Still kind of spendy I'm thinking. Does anyone know of an aftermarket kit that would work for this application?
Thanks.

I recently purchased some Warn manual hubs for my '94 X from www.4x4cyberstore.com for $176.00 shipped. This included both hubs and the spindle nut conversion kit. I did have to run to Autozone and pick up a spindle nut socket for $18.00 but the replacement was relatively easy and well worth it. I had search some before I purchased and this was the best price I could find.
