Auto tranny shifting?

I just had a remanned auto transmission in my 97 mountaineer. When increasing my speed to 40 mph and then sustain tha speed it seems like it wants to shift but doesn't. I have to increase my speed to about 43-46 then it shifts. No hard shifts, great shifting right thru the gears. I was wondering if there was an way to make the tranny shift earlier?

Sounds normal to me. Your trans does not up shift to overdrive until 45 mph.
