Wondering what the odds are that those two not working would be a bad RAP module considering that both features are tied into the module (or so I've read).

I purchased a used module off ebay for $16 shipped. Figured it'd be worth a try to see if it solves my problems.

The problems im experiencing:

The green light on the mirror lights up when I slide the slider over but the headlights dont turn on. Searched Google and I've seen others with the same problem but no solution.

The exterior keypad lights up and illuminates the lights inside and outside the truck but no lock or unlock. 78|90 wont lock the truck either. All the buttons on the drivers door work, so im hoping it's not a broken wire in the loom going to the door.

update:

The new (used) rap module arrived today. I just threw it in real quick and it solved my keypad issue but not the mirror. Either way, its nice to have a functioning keypad again.

Autolights are not related to the RAP module. Try squirting some electrical contact cleaner in the slide on the mirror and then moving the slide back and forth a few times. The sensor and brain for the autolights are in/on the mirror itself; might need a "new" one from the JY. Good luck.
