I am getting very mixed results on the topic so I figured I would post a thread before I made any purchases. I have an '07 Explorer XLT without automatic headlights, but I do have the sunload sensor on the dashboard. The fog lights turn on with the key fob in the night time and stay off in the day time, and the odometer screen does not dim when I turn the manual headlights on unless it is dark out or I cover the sensor with something. Would I be able to replace my manual switch with an automatic switch and have automatic headlights, or is there more to it than just a switch conversion?
