Automatic hub alignment

I tore into my hubs to check the bearings and am unsure of how to align the automatic hubs when I put them back on. When I put the cam part back in the plastic part freely rotated around the metal part. I'm unsure if I got everything back in right.

The auto hubs either go back on or they don't...if they don't go all the way back to the rotor surface on their own, slide it back off, and try another position. Eventually one works.
