heres the proposition, how hard would it be to take the rear window openers out of a new caravan or somthing like that. and wire them onto sport windows. call me lazy but i just think it would be cool to be able to open them automatically. if it sounds like a stupid idea dont blame me im tired
havent looked at the ones in the new caravan, but based on the design of the sport rear windows, i'd say.....HARD. think about the fact that the clip locks down into place. i dont know that a small motor could lock them down airtight like that. the open and close could be done but the lock would have to be by hand and considering that that would pull a little more, it might rish damage to the motors.
i'm no engineer, i just dont see it being worth the time/effort. besides, those windows dont do a whole lot for ventalation anyways. i found that my power roof is best for that (aside from the front 2 windows that is).
thanks for the replys... i was just readin the post about all four windows at once and i started thinkin about makin all four of my sport windows electric.... dont know if id do it, just throwin out ideas
