Hey ,

I need to replace my IAC(humming) and looked at autozone website. They did not have an IAC listed but a THROTTLE AIR BYPASS listed at $96.

Went to the local store, and got the same thing the IAC link to the THROTTLE AIR BYPASS .

Is this the same part or due I need to go to ford to get this thing? Thanks!!!

I just came back from autozone 2 minutes ago and they said I didnt even have one.:rolleyes:

Find a ratchet and socket that fits the two bolts.
Go back to Autozone and take it off when you get there.

Walk in and ask for an IAC, when they bring out the Throttle Air Bypass make sure it's the same.

The IAC let's air bypass the throttle plate to control idle.
So, "Throttle Air Bypass" would be a valid name.

IAB = Idle Air Bypass
TAB=Throttle Air Bypass
ISC=Idle Speed Control

All are the same part, it just depends on what model and year you have and which parts vendor you're dealing with.

Tried cleaning the air filter on the IAC first ?
See my post at the end of this thread :
Dead Link Removed

Worked perfectly to stop the humming on my 95 .
