Auxillary Transmission Filter Question

Hey all,
I just installed the Auxillary Transmission Filter on my 97 Explorer Sport. (Thanks Aldive for the GREAT pics). I followed your set up almost exactly. My question is the brass fittings on the filter mount are leaking. I used Teflon tape as instructed in the instruction and I noticed a puddle today after driving about 5 miles. I checked the fluid and didn't loose much at all. I did check tightness and got about half a turn out of each and I cleaned it and test drove it around the block. I didn't notice any new but it is probably too early to tell. Are there any issues with using Teflon tape on the threads and if so what is a better product to use?

Sounds like you have your problem fixed, if they still leak, take them out and wrap carefully with teflon tape. Make sure you wrap it the right direction so you dont twist it off when you install the fitting.
