hey ya'll what is the average mpg for a all wheel drive 5.0 explorer or mounty? im gettin around 8mpg now with 37's and 4.10s

ill get pics as soon as my wife gets back from her work trip, its running my jeeps 37" bogger, until my 35" bighorns get here, but they dont rub unless im flexing, oh i only a 4" superlift, 1 1/2" tt soa 3" bl

I'm getting around 13.5 with my 33s on 3.73s. You should be doing better than 8 in my opinion. How's the truck run? No CEL? Hows the plugs/wires?

im running around 16 mpg with 235/70/15's. with a bad o2 sensor

well they are 37x13 boggers, and ever since i got my dual lightning style exhaust, and mac intake, it sounds to good floorin it to not be floorin it, and ive only been running 87 octane fuel

and today i went for a joy ride in my back yard, climb some rocks, and did some mud, this thing is almost just has good as my jeep in the mud, and my jeep has 450hp+! but when it got on the rocks, this ifs just sucks, but it rides good on the road

Is your speedometer/odometer correct??? For the gears and tire size you're running???

IMHO......if it wasn't corrected.......your MPG figure don't mean much as a comparision.......unless, there is someone out there that has the exact same gear and tire size.

Then again.......some folks figure their MPGs based on GPS info.

Personally, I don't trust a GPS/navigator either......I've been known to be "off roading"..........on a perfectly good paved road......thats what the GPS said I was doing.
