I'm considering an Apten chip in my 99 Mounty AWD V8. Primarily for increase in economy. What results have others had? What programs did you order. I doubt I will go with the 93 performance because the cost of 93 is about 20 cents or more extra /gallon. This would not offset any mileage increase for me. Any comments?
Thanks,
Harold

I have the dual program flip chip in my awd. And thats pretty much all I can help you with. :D I through it in along with a lot of other mods. So it was impossible to tell what the chip alone did for me. But I know that everyone speaks highly of them!

Now I'm getting about 13mpg.

I have the 93octane program. I love it.
I have true dual exhaust and the KKM intake.
I get better gas milage than before. (Only slightly because I run it wide open most of the time)
When I keep off the gas, I will get about 14.5mpg, w/ an almost 32" tire.

I'm getting about 15.5 mpg on my 60% highway commute now. It can sometimes be a lot of stop and go north of Atlanta, plus lot of hills. Has any one tried a economy program on the Apten? Would consider a performance for use when not commuting.
