Oh yeah, you know you need to drain and refill your tires four times a year.

Hey!!! I thought Winter air was the best for the tires. Colder air is denser and will resist potholes better, Summer air will make the tires balloon out.
But then again there is also the untested theory that Summer air in the winter gives better traction (melts the snow).

Yeah, you can see what summer air and a little black paint did for my truck:

sky hook

you mention impossible stuff to find..... right handed cresent wrenchs, headlight oil...... i was looking for a sky hook, any ideas where to find one? a friend and i got his truck stuck  in a mud hole which turned out to be a pond, a sky hook would have worked wonders to get us out.... although i've never seen one nor do i know how it works....... help .... :banghead:

No prob, they're easy to make.

Take a 20 foot long piece of bamboo and cut it on 26.4 degree angles on easch side, but make sure they are opposite so one point is up and one is down.

Pick up a Orvis ® Battenkill Disc-Drag Fly Reel and attach it 6 feet in on the angled side that is pointing DOWN.

Get several boxs of waxed dental floss and wrap it through the reel. *You must use WAXED or you could lose the truck!

This is the painful part: Stab the bottom of the bamboo into the top of your foot. This will create the anchor.

Now just tie on a good hook and have your newfew swim out and attach it to the roof rack (if you don't have one you are screwed).

Now just reel her in.

Simple.

Or substitute the wax for some ground smoke from your frammis.

LOL, it's funny you mentioned the sky hook thing, just the other day a friend and I were driving seperate cars together near a section of the road which had been paved in reverse. We had difficulty getting around the area which was across from us to the left. Thank god we had a sky hook cuz I don't think we would have been able to find the return side of that one spot.

On a serious note, who can tell me how many threads are on a bolt?

Matt
