Let me know if your interested, It's pretty close for me...Not sure if you still can after the fires, but you use to be able to a jeep trail from the 2 (angeles crest) and leads you a few hundred feet from the gates of Azusa Rec Area. Could be a good light trail ride for some newbs, and then everyone could play at the rec area.

I believe the trail stic-o is talking about is the rincon shortcut which i think is still closed. Last time i was in azusa about 3 months ago the course wasnt finished yet but was bigger than it looked in pictures.
