B-Pillar Cracks under plastic.

Just purchased a 2020 Explorer ST. All four B-Pillars have cracks under the plastic at the tops where it appears they were tightened too much in the factory. There is NO damage to to outside of the plastic. My vehicle is under warranty, dealer says they will not replace under warranty although I see some people with the same problem and getting them replaced under warranty. Any ideas of this issue or any way to get a dealer to replace them. Ford Customer Service says to just find a dealer who will fix it. Is there anything better??

Typical Ford non-answer. Make the customer do all the work.
Actually, I had an issue with something that was missing and the dealer refused to fix it free. I contacted Ford Customer Service and requested they escalate it to a regional manager. That manager called the service manager at the dealership and forced them to fix it at no charge. In other words, get insistent with Ford Cust Svc to make them do their job.

I would think that the crack is in the plastic molding on the underside and not in the actual 'B' pillar itself. I guess the only way to be sure is to remove the molding. I don't think you can actually see through the molding. I believe this is the part. Levittown is a forum vendor and offers members a discount if you have to go this route to fix it yourself.
If you are still under the factory warranty limits, did the dealer give a reason why they won't cover it under warranty?

Just bought my wife a new 2023 ford explorer ST also with very same issue haven’t been to dealer yet seen cracks last week and have gotten worse

Under what warranty? I have a 2020 as well and it only has about 10K miles left on the powertrain and less than a year and I purchased Ford Protect PremiumCare through 2026.

I'd suggest taking it to the dealer as soon as you can to have them check it out. It should be covered under the warranty.
