Dear Gents

After reinstalling back the original PCM. I noticed that when unlocking the car the interior lights do not turn on as they used to and this is also the case with the other PCM so I figuered that this is not caused by computer. Then I connected OBD reader Autel and scanned error and it gave me Error B2121 and error B1687. The OBD gives a description totally different from what I have found online so can you guys assist me to understand those 2 error codes and how to resolve them if it is something I can do myself. Thanks in advance

what does it tell you? havent seen 1687 before but it says Lamp Dome Input Circuit Short To Battery
the 2121says low input to CPS

Thanks for your input. Here is what the error shows with Autel OBD B2121 illumination switch short circuit to battery ODDTCs
While the other code is B1687 Dome lamp input cicuit fault

Havent you checked the circuits related to the DTCs per Autel code definition?

Ford's "B" prefix means possible SJB concern.bad wiring or broken as-build code related issues

Online check engine code definition sites means nothing in car diagnostic terms, check workshop manual to see the full DTC definition.

You should start from checking resistance/conductivity on the harness wires between the code related components and the SJB module.

Use regular walmart multimeter or a Fluke in "Speaker Mode".

Thank you Bazz, will check as per your advise, just one thing though when you said broken as-build code what do you mean exactly because as you know, I had an issue with the ABS and I have reprogrammed it using forscan and I entered my VIN number on the Motorcraft website and gotten the As-build configuration and I used those codes to enter in the forscan where required

Broken as-build means one of the modules wasnt reprogrammed right somehow or one of the charts changed manually.

For example, if new vehicle's oem module remained in "transport" mode turned on , several functions will be disabled until switched to transport mode off.

Oh I see your point so what you suggest I do at this point

Check resistance on the DTC related circuits
