Had a rt tail light cover crack and water inside the BU light well. Dried it out, changed the bulb, checked the fuse, and - Nothing.

Lft bulb was working regularly - but now - not so much.

Any Ideas?

These vehicles with automatic transmissions have the backup light switch contacts incorporated with the "transmission range sensor". This is located on the side of the transmission where the shift lever connects. This sensor/switch would be the next thing to suspect and test. I have seen the other contacts within this device fail intermittently and result in the transmission misbehaving.

Clay is right, I have seen reverse engaged but the DTR sensor not energize the lights if the linkage was not "jiggled" into just the right place. YMMV
