After I have been driving around for awhile. When I park if I rev the engine up to 3000 or 3500, and even higher, The exhaust makes like a poping sound, It almost sounds like its back firing. Any ideas what is causing it.

do you have a rev limiter on that?
It sounds like its hitting a rev limiter and cutting out the fuel/spark to keep it from causing damage.
If you do then it will do that in neutral and park.
What happens when you are in drive?does it do the same thing at those rpm's?
Just a thought.

This is normal on most cars. On newer cars, this is usually due to them running a little rich and the cat lighting off the extra fuel.

Oh, and it's not good to rev a motor high without a load on it.
