Backup Camera on licence plate frame

I got a ebay double din Android stereo coming. Wanted to utilize its backup camera. Has anyone installed one?
Have a tow hitch and power cables that I will almost certainly never use right near the licence plate. Could I get into the interior through there? Or utilise them wires?
Some people talk about mounting a camera under the rear liftgate handle, how would wires get inside from there?

I have mine on my license plate, I put it at the bottom to not be in the way of the hatch handle.

Get the whole back panel off the lift gate, I ran the wire up back through the license plate light, I saw a video from another member here sent it that way. Then the cable I ran up above into the top of the hatch there are existing holes for other wires. Keep them long enough to open and close the door.

For the reverse tap, I used my tail light it’s the pink and black wire ( might be red and black ) to the reverse lightbulb. I also have a LED light bar now that I used my trailer light hook up but it also needed a reverse tap so I used the other taillight for that one.
