Just a question in general because a group of us was talking about it at work. How do you know if you've gotten bad gasoline? What are the symptoms? And what can you do about it? Thanks.

Does it stall, shake, misfire, ping, lack pick up acceleration, and get used up fast? Try some additive like dry gas to remove moisture from the gasoline, and fill up at another service station. You might have to replace the fuel filter in severe cases if it won't start, or keeps dieing. A fuel injector cleaner might have to be used as well.

Right now I only have the slow acceleration. My coworkers have had some of the others like it dieing when they are turning corners etc. With my EX I have had the fuel filter and the injectors cleaned (last week) but it's still acting a little hokey. It's only when you first start it and drive, and it's not every time...for two days it drove perfectly. After about 5 minutes it settles down and is ok, but you can tell it's not pulling like it should. I will try a gas additive this weekend. Is it better to put it in in an almost emepty tank or does it matter?
