bad Oil sending unit prevent truck from starting?

Hey guys,
I was just curious if anyone knows if a bad oil sending unit could prevent the truck from starting. My truck will turn over but it wont start. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks much!

No, it wont effect the starting. Sounds like a fuel or spark problem.
