bad thumping in front end

got a 2002 exployer 4x4 that started making a thumping sound in the front,new tires,new brakes and rotors,when you put in 4 wheel high lock it stops thumping then it has a grawl/squeal and holds back some first thought the anti lock brakes was engaging in and out very fast can I get some thoughts on this

I found the problem,the dumb guy at the tire shop put 245/70 16 on the front and 255/70 16 on the back
