bad vibration

I have a 2007 sport trac 4x4 v8 6speed auto with about 103000 miles on it. I have a weird vibration for 25mph on up, sounds like it's coming from the middle of the truck. checked the drive shaft center bearing little play, but it seems to be a bearing surrounded by a rubber doughnut. has anyone had this problem or could lead me in a different way, i'm stumped. checked the wheel bearings none were that loose, but the passenger side front which i changed out 2 months ago....... help !!!! THANKS...

Take a look at the front U-joint. I bet she is pooched. Its a CV on one end, and a U-joint on the other of the front shaft so you need to change it under the truck. A press makes it much easier. About a 20 minute job with the right tools. Good luck.
