I posted this in the "intro" area, but thought it might be wise to have it here...so people can offer me recs on the questions I have... :)

Hi Folks,

I have just puchased my first Ford - a 2009 Sport Trac Adrenalin. I seemed to have "crossed to the other side"...

I also currently own a VW Golf R (my little summer sportscar), but after test driving the Adrenalin, I couldn't help myself!

Right now, she is pretty much stock - and I am planning a few add-ons mods for her.

I have ordered Window Visors, a Sprintbooster (have used them in my last two cars, love it - can't live without it), a nice Ford Autostart. I've got some 18" steelies and some winter rubber ready to go too - cause I'm hoping to get tons more snow!

I've also ordered some body side moldings for the doors, and they will be color matched. Will likely add some vinyl to "sporty" her up a bit. Also plan on going straightpipe out of the Cat (who needs a muffler - the 4.6 sound soo good to quiet down!), and trying to find a good option for a CAI. I will also get a chip for her, but they make so many for Ford, hard to know which is best!

I'm not a huge fan of K&N, but I might have to buy their system, and then buy a replacement dry filter from AFE or something. I like Volant, but I can't find a whole system from them.

Depending on the state of the 20" wheels (if the idiots before me used the alloy wheels in the winter, they're likely not in the best shape), I will liekly powder coat them gloss balck...so basically, I'm gonna black her out...

I can't wait to pick her up! Tomorrow...5:00 p.m.!

Cheers!

CAI of your choice, most people like the SCT tuner, exhaust of your choice. The cat-back kits like Gibson won't work with the Adrenalin rear valance so you will have to get the tailpipe bent differently or just get a whole custom exhaust built. IF you can find a muffler guy who is smart and patient it is possible to get a single-in dual-out muffler and run two tailpipes out. Not an easy job getting two pipes around the rear suspension.
