The red battery light on the dash of my 95 XLT came on. I checked the alternator, its fine @ 14.5 VDC with all accessories on. The battery itself is good too.
Then as suddenly as it appeared, it vanished again but I did notice my fuel gauge raised about an 8th of a tank when the idiot light went out. Perhaps a faulty wire to the instrument cluster?
