battery saver relay

Look up under the dash to the right of the steering column. Remove the cover from the rectangular plastic box and the battery saver relay is inside.

I was doing some wiring under the dash and I heard something click and all of a sudden my interior lights went out. I thought I blew a fuse somehow so I went inside to get a new one. Well as soon as I shut the car door, the lights flashed on then off. I read about a battery saver system, but I never knew it was a relay
