BBK supercharger

I noticed that BBK offers a supercharger for my 93 sport.
Does anyone have a supercharger on their X?
How does it hook up and how much detail is involved?
Also has anyone seen any ram air hoods for the X?
Any suggestions or comments would help, thanks

Yeah, Alec has the BBK supercharger. Do a seach under the user name Alec. Also I noticed that you have 160,000 miles on your truck, a supercharge might not be the best idea for a high mileage motor.

If you want to go with a SC, check into both the BBK and the Vortech. If you are planning on rebuilding the motor (reference "miles, miles, miles") then don't worry about the miles on the motor 'cuz you're gonna replace it anyways!

Does anyone have a website for vortech superchargers?
I think I want to go with another 4.0L I would like to rebuild one and leave the one in the X there til it goes. If I put the supercharger on the old engine would it go bad when the engine finally goes?
Im not ready to change all that stuff for the 5.0L so I will wait.
Does anyone have or know where I can get a 4.0L to rebuild with way under 100,000 mls? I live in a small area so no luck here.

Vortech

Look for Paul Bredahoft. He has a Vortech in his truck, but dosen't like it. You might want to email him and ask for the details on why.
