Bearing? noise after radiator flush?

After flushing out the radiator, heater core and block, now all refilled with actual green fluid seem to have developed a chirping type sound. Not 100% of the time, but a lot. Fluid was brown.
I've read the posts on chirping and squealing, etc, but don't have a handle on it. Both idler pulleys were replaced last summer. Sound seems to be coming from the Water pump. I've also read all of the PITA of R&R-ing that part. Don't know why flushing that would now cause that to be bad?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Get yourself a mechanics stethoscope, or, a LONG screwdriver, and probe the various parts so you can tell for sure where the noise originates from. Go from there with a better idea what is making the noise. Just be careful of the SPINNING FAN!!!!!!
 






Or, dont risk your fingers. Take the belt off and spin all the pulleys by hand and see which one is making the noise.
 






Ethylene glycol is an alcohol and as such, it will displace grease/oil. Therefore, when you are working with the engine coolant system, it is important that you do not get ethylene glycol on any bearings (alternator, AC compressor, etc..) or else it will lead to premature bearing failure (dry).

As for the glycol drying out bearings...;
1. I don't think any got "spilled" on them.
2. Thought that the bearings would be sealed.

But, hey, I'm just a backyard mechanic kind of guy, so I am here to learn.

And I have learned a TON from this site. It is far superior to any other site I have visited for a few other vehicles. That is truly a "tip of the hat" to all of the members and supporters here.
I will check the "stethoscope" and get back to you.

Good advice, but, you can not always duplicate the noise by hand with no belt tension.
