Wow, this thing is gorgeous. Like I said in the other forum, I rarely like crossovers, but this is very classy.

Exploring what a Lincoln crossover vehicle would look like, Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln Division revealed a new concept that mixes coupe and sport-utility attributes.
Called the Navicross, the boldly styled, 15.5-foot-long vehicle with all-wheel drive is based on a modified Lincoln LS platform and powered by a supercharged V8.
“The elegance and poise [of the Navicross] is unusual for an SUV-type vehicle,” said Gerry McGovern, head of Lincoln design worldwide.
The burgundy Navicross show vehicle looks as if it only has two doors. But once the large front doors are opened, rear suicide-style doors with rear hinges can open, too.
Like two previous Lincoln concepts from 2001 and 2002, the Navicross body is accented from end to end by a shiny metallic strip atop the vehicle’s shoulder on each side. And, like the earlier MK9 and Continental concepts, the Navicross rides on large wheels and tires. Specifically, the Navicross wears 20-inch, all-terrain tires.
The rear end is abbreviated, seeming to end quickly, just aft of the rear window. But when the trunk lid rises and a short tailgate lowers, a sizable trunk can be accessed.
Inside, the Navicross’ four roomy, cream-colored seats appear to float above the floor because their moorings are at the center tunnel of the vehicle.
McGovern said Lincoln continues to evolve its future styling direction, calling the Navicross the next iteration of the Lincoln design exercises.
Each of the three concepts dating back to 2001 “are influencing the design of future Lincoln vehicles that we’re doing at the moment,” he explained.
