I thought now would be as good a time as any to say hello. Currently own a 94 XLT, pretty much stock but its a family ride. Started my Ford experience with a 74 Stang and stayed with them until the Bronco II's. Got my in 89 prior to being sent to Ft Bliss Tx for 6 months. Had it in secured parking and it was stolen in 3 weeks. I was posted to the embassy in Mx City 91-93 and I was first on station to have a the new 91 Ford Explorer XL. Envy of the embassy I tell ya. I dorve all over Mexico, Belize, Salvador Honduras, Nicaragua with nary a problem. By the time I left the embassy in 93 there had to be 12 or 13 Explorers. Got to Atlanta in 93 and was in an accident in May 96. Totaled the 91 XL. Went and bought this baby and I love it. Wanted to say that this board is an invaluable resource. It is one of the best of the net IMHO and the users are knowledgable and friendly to boot.
