Best Battery Cable Size

I never have needed to change my battery cables. If I do, what would be the best size cable...1, 2, or 4 gauge cables? What size is OEM? Who makes the best cable replacements? Thanks Mike

The stock size should be adequate, unless you have a tremendous power need. I do not know the gauge size of the OEM.

On our boats, we make all our own cables. That is we buy bulk wire and attach the ends ourself; never had any problems doing this.
