Best NON synthetic oil

Well i have a 92 XLT with 175,000 that i run either mobil 1 or Amsoil in. But my mom has a 94 with 150,000 i usually change my moms oil, but my dad does it occasionaly. He doesn't belive in synthetic, and says the cost too much so i have avoided using it in her car cuz i know if he changes it he wont. SO what is the best brand of NON synthetic oil out there?

I would either go with quaker state or mobil 1.

I have been using Castrol Syntec for many years in all my vehicles (4). Depending on the season/vehicle, I use 5-30 or 10-30.
Very pleased. Also I use the Mobil-1 oil filter, or PurOne (whichever is in stock).
